Makes enough for 10 servings

To make the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)

300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

Ingredients for the Drink (yields 850ml, to serve 10)

400ml decent vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Instructions

Making the Syrup: Combine the listed ingredients inside a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, stirring so the sugar melts. Next, remove from the stove and leave to reach room temperature completely. Decant to a sealable bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for around four weeks.

To make Cocktail Base: Combine every spirits and syrup into one sizeable container, let it rest for an hour, then pass it through best through a fine cloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.

For serving: Measure 85ml from the premix to a cocktail shaker containing ice, gently stirring lightly for one minute to cool it down. Filter to a chilled martini glass or equivalent, top with the cranberries and complete it by giving it a quick spritz of the essential oil over the top.
