The Pen is mightier than the sword.

You might remember, that was the theme behind Paige’s first article on our site. We’ve come along way since the start of this views site back in October 2009. But there’s one thing we’ve always lacked, and that’s a focus.

Slowly, we’ve started to add new things to the site, to add new writers to our pages, so that we can bring people together. And this is simply the latest of our ideas. Starting from this week, every week, one poem or short story will be published here. If you’d like for yours to be the first, write a comment below, or email echoblog@rocketmail.com, with your story (a maximum of 2000 words please!) or poem.

We hope to build up a large selection of poems and writing for people to read, and hopefully to publish more and more as time goes on.

We’ll also be placing a poem here to inspire you within the coming few days!
